RUN AWAY!!!

Great loan, horrible process. It is done through the Bank of America and they are awful. The processor has had my paperwork for 3 weeks now, not asked for any additional information, and refused to return my call when I inquire about the status. HIs manager, has not returned my 3 calls either. NO communication. NOt worth any type of saving you get. I would have paid a much higher rate not to have to deal with this and be confident that we would close in 45 days. At this point, I am leary in selling our home becuase I am afraid we won’t close on time with the one and lose that house. It is very disheartening not to be able to tell your children that you are moving because you are afraid your loan won’t be processed in time or the VA will not grant you an extention…

As is usually the case, when the federal government gets involved, things will become more costsly, more ambiguous and always less productive. Banks have plenty of attorneys to help advise them how to make the new rules for worth them and I think homeowners should also think like the banks.

When my clients facing foreclosure ask me what I would do if I were in their shoes, I simply tell them to start the short-sale process and then save every dime they can by not paying the mortgage during the process. Bank\’s will look after their bottom lines and I think preforeclosure owners should do the same.
